Description
NATURAL WHITE PUMICE STONE
A pumice stone is a lightweight, porous volcanic rock used for exfoliating and removing dead, callused, or hard skin. It is typically used on the feet, hands, and elbows to smooth rough patches and soften skin. Pumice stones are formed from lava that cools rapidly, trapping gas bubbles which give it its characteristic spongy texture.
How to use pumice stone?
1. Soften the skin: Soak the area in warm, soapy water for 5–10 minutes.
2. Wet the stone: Dip the pumice stone in warm water.
3. Exfoliate: Use the abrasive side of the stone to gently rub the skin in a circular or sideways motion. Use light to medium pressure.
4. Rinse: Rinse your skin and the pumice stone after each use.
5. Repeat: If there’s still dead skin, you can repeat the process.
Here are some tips for using a pumice stone:
* Be careful not to remove too much skin, as this can cause bleeding and infection.
* Take breaks to wash the area and check your progress.
* Turn the stone over to a fresher side as it wears down.
* Do not share your pumice stone to prevent the spread of infection.
* To clean the stone, you can scrub it with washing up liquid and an old toothbrush, soak it in hot water and soap, or dip it in a solution of one part bleach to ten parts water. You can also place it in boiling water.
